Voting Information Hub from Facebook for The Upcoming US Election
Facebook has released the largest voting campaign in American. The aim of the voting campaign is to help people to register for the upcoming election in America.
Using a social network to register in the voting campaign gave a big success in 2016. So using the social network for voting will give a lot of benefits. Because it can double the number of people to register for the upcoming election.
Facebook has built a voting Information Center including information on how people can register and vote. It is also including how to request an absentee or mail-in ballot. And it is based on a user’s state laws.
The information hub will notify users about some announcements and changes for the election process get from local authorities. It also will alert the users about pertinent information like registration periods, deadlines to request a vote by mailing ballot, and the start of early voting.

The center can show the users when and where they are supposed to vote and whether there are ID requirements for the users’ location. And it will help voters to prepare for Election Day.
The social network will put a link at the voting information center at the top of Facebook page and Instagram feeds starting this summer and it will give the prime location.
Zuckerberg had explained that many people need more information on how to vote in November based on Facebook surveyed. Not only announcing about the voter campaign, but Facebook also has released the ability to opt-out of seeing political ads.
And today, users can switch off ads that have the “Paid for by” political disclaimer on them. To do it, all you need to do is click on the “Paid for” information link then choose the “See fewer ads”. They also can opt-out of seeing political ads on Facebook and on Instagram.
