Plot Story
Enola Holmes is a mystery novel written by Nancy Springer of the same name, Enola Holmes. Then, it’s adapted and produced into a movie by Legendary Pictures. This movie presents a story about Enola Holmes who is looking for her mother, Eudoria Holmes, who has disappeared.
Initially, Enola’s idea to discover her mother was opposed by Mycroft because Enola should study and become a “real woman” (in the meaning of being a gentle girl). On the other hand, there is Sherlock who supports Enola’s idea.
Enola, starred by Millie Bobby Brown and her two brothers, Sherlock and Mycroft, set several missions to find their mother. On their mission, they meet Lord Tewksbury, starred by Louis Partridge. There’s a conspiracy around the land.

Character
At the first this movie produced, there was a conflict with the character of Sherlock Holmes in this movie. It says Netflix changed the original character from Sherlock. Based on the original book series created by Arthur Conan Doyle, the character Sherlock is someone who is no empathetic and emotionless. But, there is a difference in the Enola Holmes movie, Sherlock is depicted as caring and supporting what his younger sister is doing in searching for their mother. So, Arthur Conan Doyle’s side doesn’t agree with Sherlock’s character.
There are indeed many adaptations of Sherlock’s story, but with a striking change in character, it will slightly disturb the original character.
However, even though some pros and cons occurred at beginning of the production of the Enola Holmes about the character Sherlock himself, hopefully, this film will be able to erase nostalgia with this mysterious story from Holmes. Let’s wait until it is aired!
Talking about the character, Enola Holmes described as a lively and cheerful girl, and of course, full of ideas.
