Apple Stores Are Closed Due to Looting Attacks
Apple decides to close some of its just-reopened Apple Store locations for a while across the United States on Sunday. This thing happens to protect its retail employees from looters who take benefit of the ongoing George Floyd protests.
On Saturday night, Apple Store outlets across the United States get attacks by opportunistic looters who want to break into the retail outlets to steal Apple products.
With protests that take place in more 30 United States cities over the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who died while get arrested. This is as anticipation for more attacks that can happen against stores over Sunday.
Apple closes some of its stores when the events still continue as a precaution, said 9to5Mac.
Apple gives advice to its store pages “With the health and safety of our teams, we have made a decision to keep some of our stores in the United State closed on Sunday”.

Accounts and social media images of the lootings show some people forced to enter into the stores, grab demonstration devices, and nearby boxed stock.
After that, they leave the store. The attacks make a huge damage to the glass-fronted stores. Such as the Hennepin Avenue Minneapolis outlet being closed for some period for repairing.
Other stores looted and attacked on Friday and Saturday night are including Pioneer Place in Portland, Oregon; Scottsdale, Arizona; Philadelphia, and Washington, D.C.
As preparation for looting and protests attempts, many stores have taken to pack away merchandise and board up windows to prevent damage.
People who take demonstration devices will not be able to use the devices. It is because they are of limited use. And also they can not use the devices because of deactivated. They will also get tracked when they are out of the range of the store.
